Hedgewood is a fully inclusive special needs primary school supporting pupils aged 4–11 with Autism and complex, moderate learning disabilities, sometimes associated with behavioural, emotional, social, communication, physical or sensory needs.
Children are at the heart of what we do and our vision is simple:
“be nice – work hard – be happy”
We work with every child as an individual ensuring that their educational and therapeutic needs are met so that they can flourish both within our school and when they leave. Our curriculum is about giving each child the best opportunity to succeed; to achieve the highest quality of life.
We pride ourselves on creating a fun and engaging learning environment where the children feel safe, happy and ready to learn.
We hope that you will find all the information that you need on the website and that gives you a good feel for the life and work of the school. If you would like to visit we would be happy to show you how amazing the children and staff are.
Pearl Greenwald & Bryony Smith,
Co-Headteachers
